We, the family, announce the passing of Antonio “Antoine” Godin, which occurred at his residence, following a long illness, surrounded by his loving family, on Monday, February 23rd, 2026 at the age of 75.

Born in St-Sauveur, NB he was the son of the late Thomas and Alexandrine (Power) Godin.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his first wife, Lorraine (Constantineau) and he leaves behind his beloved wife of 35 years, Angella (Lanteigne).

He is survived by his children: Donald (Ann), Cory, Cathy (Bob), Serge (Linda) and Daniel (Tammy).

Nine grandchildren: Guillaume, Courtney, Kyle, Logan, Lewis, Chase, Grayson, Tristan and Ashton.

One great-granddaughter, Jade.

He also leaves behind his siblings: Alfred (late Simonne), Stanley (Noëlla), Cecile (late Richard), Edmond (Desneiges), Hédard (Verena), Marie-Berthe (Alyre), Adrianna (Roger), Adeline (late Leodoré) and Yvon (Lyna) as well as his sister-in-law; Yolande.

He was predeceased by his brothers; Hédard and Adrien.

The family would like to thank Dr. Arseneau and Dr. Ferguson, as well as the Extra-Mural staff and a special thank you to Charline and Jackie for their excellent care given to Antoine.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 26th from 7 – 9 p.m. at Elhatton Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday morning, February 27th at 11 a.m. from Our Lady of the Rosary Church, Bathurst. Donations in memory of Antoine a charity of the donor’s choice.
