1927 - 2015

Bathurst - Gabrielle Vienneau - wife of Leo Vienneau, passed away on Thursday, March 5, 2015 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst after a brief illness, at the age of 87.

Born in St. Isidore, she was the daughter of the late Ferdinand "Fred" and Alice (Chiasson) Ward of Bathurst.

Gabrielle was House mother at the former nurse’s residence on Murray Ave, until it closed and she also worked at the Chaleur Regional Hospital until her retirement. 

Besides her husband, she is survived by two sons: Claude Landry of Tracadie and Guy Landry of Bathurst.

One grandchild, Erica Landry

Two brothers: Ferrier (Valentine) and Fred (Shirley) both of Bathurst.

One sister, Yvette MacDonald (Kevin) of Wolfville, N.S.

Several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a son, Armand; two brothers: Alphonse and Guy; two sisters: Yolande and Aline.

There will be no visitation at the funeral home.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2015 at 11 a.m. from Elhatton Funeral Chapel (www.elhatton.com) St. George St., Bathurst, reception to follow.
