Mrs. Leona Hachey, 82, wife of Benoit Hachey, of the Villa Sormany, Robertville, and formerly of College St., Bathurst, died Sunday (December 12, 2004) at the Villa Sormany after a lengthy illness. Born in Bartibog, she was the daughter of the late William and Lucy (Withers) Boudreau. She was a member of the Holy Family Catholic Women's League, Bathurst. Besides her husband, she is survived by: Four daughters: Claudette Dugas (René), Denise Haché (Gilles) and Nicole O'Neil (Donald) all of Bathurst and Jeannine Baron (Conrad) of Gatineau, Que; Three sons: Aurele Hachey (Georgette) and Ben Hachey Jr. (Joan) both of Bathurst and Bill Hachey(Christine) of Quebec City; One sister: Dell Holt of Halifax, NS; 14 Grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. The body will rest after 7 p.m. Monday at Elhatton's Funeral Home, Bathurst. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday morning (December 15, 2004) at 11:00 a.m. from Holy Family Church, St. Peter Ave., Bathurst. Burial will be in the parish cemetery in the spring. Visiting hours are Monday 7 to 9, Tuesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and Wednesday from 9 a.m. till time of Funeral Mass.
