1929 – 2015

Bathurst - At the age of 85, Isabel Dawson died after a short illness at the Chaleur Regional Hospital on Tuesday, June 9, 2015, wife of the late John A. Adams and the 2nd husband, the late John Dawson.

Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Denis Christie and Melvina Hachey.

She is survived by three brothers:  Ernest Christie (Jenny) of Kitchener, Ont., Alphonse Christie (Catherina) of Fredericton, N.B. and John Christie (Phyllis) of Hamilton, Ont.

Special niece, Phyllis Robichaud of Bathurst and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by two brothers: Richard and James Christie; three sisters: Macrena Doucet, Marion Lejeune and Florida Hachey.

There will be no visitation at the funeral home.

A Funeral service will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at 2 p.m. from the Elhatton Funeral Chapel (www.elhatton.com) in Bathurst. In memory of Isabel, a donation to Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated.
