It is with great sorrow that the family wish to announce the death of Adrienne Thériault, 57, of West Bathurst, which occurred on Friday (December 17, 2004), at her residence with her devoted husband Hervé Thériault at her side during her lengthy battle with her illness. Born in Tracadie, she was the daughter of the late Alyre Morais and Clémentine Duguay of Saint-Isidore. Adrienne is survived by: A Daughter: Nadine Thériault of Saint-Antoine-de-Kent; A son: Jolyn Thériault (Christine Larochelle) of Shédiac; Three granddaughters who gave her tremendous strength, Karine, Janie and Sophie-Adrienne; Eight siblings: Louis (Gilberte Babin) of Florida, Jean-Guy (Alexina Ferguson), Thérèse (Calix Thomas), Denise and André (Alexina Haché), all of Tracadie-Sheila, Paul (Hélène Chiasson) of Allardville, Alyre (Cordula Rubin) of Four Roads and Raymonde (Ronnie Gould) of Dieppe; Sister-in-law: Rolande (Paul-Émile Mourant) of Bathurst; Godmother to Christian Morais and Marie-Lyne Fackenthall. Several nieces, nephews and many friends She was pre-deceased by a sister, Françoise (Roland Mallais), her in-laws Jerry and Julia Thériault and brother-in-law Father Ubald Thériault. Adrienne worked at the Chaleur Regional Hospital in Bathurst. She also worked for School District 05, and was very active in the community and religious organizations. Adrienne had a big heart and despite her illness she was always present for her Church Choir at Our Lady of the Rosary. A very active member of “Cursillo” group, she was full of love and devotion. The body rested at Elhatton's Funeral Home, Bathurst. Funeral Mass was celebrated on Monday afternoon (20 December, 2004) at 2:00 p.m. from Our Lady of the Rosary Church. Burial will be in the parish cemetery in the spring.
