1939 – 2015

Michel Guitard of Pointe-Verte, passed away on Thursday, July 16, 2015 at the age of 76, after a short illness at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, beloved husband of Mathilda (Lagacé) Guitard.

Born in Pointe-Verte, he was the son of the late Delphis Guitard and Eva Devericks

Besides his wife, he is survived by two children, Mona (Paul) Losier of Bathurst and Danny (Carole) of Pointe-Verte.

Three grandchildren: Jeffrey, Pascale and Joline.

Eight brothers: George, Camille, Ronnie, Allard, Vernon, Delphis Jr. (Patsy), François (Marie) and Patrick.

Three sisters: Vivianne Vincent, Betty (Gilles) Guitard and Léona (Claude) Lagacé.

He was predeceased by one brother, Philippe; two sisters: Thérèse and Nora; one nephew, John Rosengreen.

Visitation will be held at Heritage Funeral Home in Beresford (mfheritage.com) on Tuesday, July 21, 2015 from 1 pm until time of funeral which will be celebrated at 4 p.m. from St-Vincent-de-Paul Church in Pointe-Verte.

A donation in memory of Michel, may be made to the Palliative Care Unit of the Chaleur Regional Hospital Foundation.
