1950 - 2015

Bathurst - Mrs. Barbara McLellan-Couture, at the age of 64, wife of Richard Couture, passed away on Saturday, July 18, 2015, at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, after a lengthy illness.

Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Aurèle and Carmella (Doucet) Chamberlain.

Besides her husband, she is survived by three children: Kevin McLellan (Tina) and Stephanie McLellan both of Moncton and Shawn McLellan (Diana) of Leduc, Alta. 

Three step-children: Angela Couture (Bruce Boyd) and Brian Couture both of Bathurst and Laurie Ann Couture (Gilles Doucet) of Robertville.  

Four grandchildren and five step-grandchildren.

Three brothers: Edward Chamberlain (Marie), Bernard Chamberlain (Barbara Ann) both of Bathurst and Kevin Chamberlain (Edna) of Salmon Beach. 

Five sisters: Shirley Legacy (Brian), Edith Theriault (Tony) and Debbie Knowles  all of Bathurst, Linda Vienneau (Aldor) of Rough Waters and Joyce Angers (Denis) of Ontario.  Several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst, on Sunday, July 19, 2015 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9.

Funeral service will be celebrated on Monday July 20, 2015 at 11 a.m. from the Funeral Home Chapel, St. George St., Bathurst.
