1924 - 2015

Bathurst – Mrs. Berthille Pitre, at the age of 90, wife of the late Alphonse Pitre, passed away on Sunday, July 19, 2015 at the Foyer Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes, Bathurst.

Born in Robertville, she was the daughter of the late Edgar and Hélène (Doucet) Doucet.

She is survived by six daughters: Hélène Duguay (Viateur) of Bathurst, Diane Donohue (Gilles Wilson) of Beresford, Madeleine Stucki (Hans) of Chilliwack, B.C., Denise Pitre of Moncton, Suzanne Pitre of Montréal, Que. and Monique Pitre of Dieppe. 

Five sons:  Normand of Vancouver, B.C., Raymond (Mariette) of Petit-Rocher, Yvon and Régis both of Bathurst and François of Nelson, B.C.

Eight grandchildren: Kimberly, Francine, Philippe, Nathalie, Eric, Raymond Jr., Mélissa, Myriam and four great-grandchildren: Alec, Adam, Jasmine and Xavier.

Four sisters:  Eveline Doucet (Raoul) of Bathurst, Elva Ducharme (Normand) of Victoriaville, Que., Dorine Cormier (Aldéric) of Olds, Alta. and Lily Gosselin (Réal) of Montréal, Que.  Several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a daughter, Nicole; two sisters: Maria and Pat; three brothers: Yvon, Gilbert and Lucien.

Visitation will be held at Elhatton Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst, on Tuesday, July 21, 2015 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and Wednesday, July 22, 2015 from noon until time of funeral.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, July 22, 2015 at 2 p.m. from Our Lady of the Rosary Church, Bathurst.
