1944 – 2015

Alice Roy of Bathurst, passed away at the age of 70, on Wednesday, July 29, 2015 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst.

Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Wilfred Roy and Loretta Caissie.

She is survived by two sons:  Yvon (Nadine) of Tracadie and Joey (Bethany Butterfield) of Bathurst.

Three daughters:  Laurieann Bradstreet (Troy) of Florenceville, N.B., Melodia Brideau (Zoël) of St-Pons, N.B., Cindy Melanson (Rick) of Memramcook, N.B.

Seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Five sisters:  Elizabeth Lagacé (Edgar), Isabelle McLean, Freda McGrath (Ralph), Rhoda Roy, Sadie Hudon (Roger) all of Bathurst.

Five brothers:  Freddy (Elizabeth), Edgar (Evelyn), Arthur (Denise Guignard) all of Bathurst and Patrick (Cloris Roussell) of Paquetville, Joseph Silas (Nancy Pitre) of Bathurst.

He was predeceased by one brother, Guy.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 4, 2015 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 at Elhatton Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com) Bathurst.

Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 5, 2015 at 11 a.m. from Elhatton Funeral Home Chapel, Bathurst.

Donations, in memory of Alice may be made to the Palliative Care Unit of the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst.
