1924 – 2015

Bathurst – Andrew Doucette, 91, of Young St., Bathurst, passed away Sunday August 2, 2015 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst.

Born in Plaster Rock, he was the son of the late Amos and Priscilla (Melanson) Doucette.

He was retired from Canadian Tire.

Besides his wife, Bella (Ruest) (Roy) Doucette, he is survived by three sons:  David Doucette (Janice) of Riverview, Edward Doucette and Peter Doucette (Josie) both of Bathurst.

Four grandchildren; Rocco, Justine, Collin and Carlene.

Three brothers:  Hubert Doucette, Frank Doucette and Robert Doucette (Judy), all of Plaster Rock.

Two sisters:  Marion Goodine and Patricia Foster both of Plaster Rock.  Several nieces and nephews.

He was pre-deceased by a son, Eloi "Manny" in 2004.

The body will rest after 2:00 p.m. on Monday, August 3, 2015 at Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday August 4, 2015 at 2 p.m. from The Sacred Heart Cathedral, St. Andrew St., Bathurst. 

Visiting hours are Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and Tuesday from 1 p.m. until time of Funeral.
