1933 - 2015

Bathurst - Adelina Poirier, 82, wife of Claude Poirier, of Victoria Ave., Bathurst, passed away on Tuesday August 25, 2015, at her residence after a lengthy illness.

Born in Belledune, she was the daughter of the late Philias and Mary (Guitard) Comeau.

Adelina worked with BEST Group for 15 years.

She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Besides her husband, she is survived by one daughter, Joanne Poirier of Bathurst.

Two sons: Michel (Mai) of Fort McMurray, Alta., also of Thailand and Daniel (Atsuko) of Middleton, N.S.

Two granddaughters:  Mayghan and Tamami.

Several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a daughter, Linda in 1990.

There will be no visitation at the funeral home

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, August 31, 2015 at 2 p.m. from the Elhatton Funeral Chapel (www.elhatton.com) Bathurst.

Donations in memory of Adelina may be made to the Alzheimer's Society or a favorite charity.
