Gloucester Junction, NB - Riordon Boucher, 80, of Gloucester Junction, passed away on Tuesday September 8, 2015, at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst.
Born in Bathurst, he was the son of the late Harry and Jeanne (Chamberlain) Boucher.
Riordon was retired from Canadian National Railway.
Besides his wife, Rose Marie (Frenette) Boucher, he is survived by two daughters: Marlene Parker (Darren) of Dunlop and Carla Zogaj of Bathurst. Three grandchildren; Brandon, Britney, Amanda, three great-grandchildren, Ethan, Chloé and Aubree.
Five brothers: Doran Boucher (Monique), Alban Boucher (Anita), Edgar Boucher (Joanne), August Boucher (Germaine) and Louis Boucher all of Bathurst.
One sister, Mary Vienneau (late Gerard) of Bathurst. Several nieces and nephews.
He was pre-deceased by a son, Nelson, three brothers, Hadley, Lionel, Eloi and three sisters, Kathleen, Doreen and Alice.
There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday September 12, 2015 at 11 a.m. from the Sacred Heart Cathedral, St. Andrew St., Bathurst. Donations in memory of Riordon may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a favorite charity. Arrangements are in the care of Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst.
