1934 - 2015

Beresford – Rhéal Bertin, 81, of Bathurst and formerly of Beresford, passed away on Tuesday September 8, 2015 at his residence.
Born in Beresford, he was the son of the late Alexandre and Laurina (Arseneau) Bertin.
He was retired from the former Brunswick Mines.

He was pre-deceased by his wife, Léona (Pitre) Bertin in 2008.

He is survived by three sons: Daniel (Sylvie) and Ronald (Joanne Dionne-Godin) both of Beresford and Denis (Rachel) of Bathurst.  Two daughters: Pauline Bertin of Calgary, Alta. and Carole Bertin (Rino) of Edmunston

13 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren.

One brother, Angus Bertin (Lina) of Beresford.  Several nieces and nephews.

He was pre-deceased by 3 sisters; Eveline, Florence, Doris and 3 brothers; Léonard, Raymond and Clarence.

The body will rest after 7 p.m. Friday at Heritage Funeral Home (www.mfheritage.com), 270 Centre St., Beresford.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday morning September 12, 2015 at 11 a.m. from the Holy Name of Jesus Church (Eglise Saint-Nom-de-Jésus) Beresford. 

Visiting hours are Friday from 7 to 9 and Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until time of Funeral.
