Bathurst – Armand Brideau, 84, husband of Yvette (Hachey) (Bourdage) Brideau, of Bathurst, passed away on Wednesday September 9, 2015, at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst.
Born in Val Comeau, he was the son of the late Peter and Marie Marthe "Marjorie" (Thibodeau) Brideau.
Besides his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Joanne (Bourdage) Richard (Yvon) of Dieppe. One son, Paul Bourdage of Bathurst. Three grandchildren, six great-grandchildren.
Two brothers: Irenée "Doute" Brideau and Alyre Bridreau (Jeannine) both of Val Comeau. Three sisters: Mélodia LeBlanc of Ottawa, ON, Patricia Haché (Alban) of Trudel and Cécile Arseneau (Rhéal) of Val Comeau. Several nieces and nephews.
He was pre-deceased by two sisters, Marie Reine and Cécilia.
The body will rest after 2 p.m. Friday at Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday afternoon September 12, 2015 at 2 p.m. from Holy Rosary Church, St. Peter Ave., Bathurst. Visiting hours are Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and Saturday from noon until time of Funeral. Donations in memory of Armand may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of the donors choice would be appreciated.
