1946 - 2015

Bathurst - Vito Canini, 69, of Ste Anne St., Bathurst, passed away on Friday September 11, 2015, at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst.

Born in Italy, he was the son of the late Juilio and Fernanda (Gentili) Canini.

He was the owner operator Vito’s Concrete Floor.

Besides his wife, Anita Cormier, he is survived by his children: Marco (April Love) and Fernando both of Bathurst and Nathalina Canini of Beresford.

One brother, Valentino Canini of Italy.  One sister, Maria Canini (Francesco Trinchieri) of Italy.  Brother-in-law, Antonio Mastrantonio of Italy.  Several nieces and nephews.

He was pre-deceased by a sister, Anna Canini.

The body will rest after 2 p.m. Sunday at Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday September 14, 2015, at 4 p.m. from the Sacred Heart Cathedral, St. Andrew St., Bathurst.  Visiting hours are Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and Monday from 2 p.m. until time of Funeral.  Donations in memory of Vito may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of the donors choice.
