1926 - 2015

Allardville - Arthur Chiasson of Foyer Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes, Bathurst, passed away on Monday, September 14, 2015, at the age of 89, husband of Alexandrine (Mazerolle) Chiasson, formerly of Allardville.

Born in Caraquet, he was the son of the late Joseph Chiasson and Délima Frigault.

Besides his wife of Allardville, he is survived by six sons: Antonio (Edith) and Alexis both of Bathurst, Fernand (Monique), Daniel (Lilianne), Donat (Nadine) and Marc (Mélanie) all of Allardville.

Two daughters: Alice Thériault (Serge) of Bathurst and Rita Huard (Fabien) of Allardville.

Thirteen grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

Two sisters: Augustina (Presley) Gionet and Anita Dugas both of Bathurst. Several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by two children: Marie and Alexandre; four sisters and one brother.

Visitation will be held at Elhatton Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com) Bathurst on Thursday September 17, 2015 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday September 18, 2015 from 1:30 p.m. until time of funeral.  

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, September 18, 2015 at 4 p.m. from Église Christ-Roi of Allardville. 

A donation in memory of the late Arthur may be made to Lung Association of a favourite charity would be appreciated by the family.
