1928 – 2015

Réjane Pinet of Raymond Ave, Bathurst, wife of the late Jean Louis Pinet passed away with her loving family by her side, on Sunday, September 13, 2015 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst at the age of 86.

Born in Caraquet, she was the daughter of the late Emile Dugas and Laura Basque.

She is survived by five daughters: Louise Pinet (Douglas Sylvester), Jacinthe Pinet (Richard Kenny) both of Ottawa, Patricia Morin (Gérald) of Cornwall, P.E.I., Majella Pinet and Julienne Roy (Gérard) both of Bathurst.

Two sons: Dominique Pinet (Althéa Saulnier) and François Pinet (Ghislaine) both of Bathurst.

Sixteen grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.

Three brothers: Valbert Dugas (Corinne) of Dieppe, Normand Dugas (Jacelyne) of Shippagan and Cléophas Plourde (Wilma) of Kelwood, Man.

Two sisters: Géraldine Melanson of Rogersville and Lucienne Dugas (Emile) of Maisonnette. Several nieces and nephews.

Besides her husband, she was predeceased by a daughter, Lucille; two sisters: Martina and Rita.

Réjane was a member of Cursillo Prayer Group and the Duplicate Bridge club.

Visitation will be held at Elhatton Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com) on Wednesday, September 16, 2015 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm and on Thursday from 2 pm until time of funeral.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, September 17, 2015 at 4 pm from Our Lady of the Rosary Church, St. Peter Ave., Bathurst. 

Donations in memory of Réjane may be made to the Resource Center in Bathurst or a charity of the donor’s choice.
