1938 – 2015
Bathurst – Mrs. Sarah Eleanor Haché, 77, wife of Fernand Haché, of Centennial Street, Bathurst, passed away surrounded by her loving family in her home on Wednesday, September 30, 2015.
Born in North Tetagouche, she was the daughter of the late John E. and Sarah "Sadie" (Young) O’Kane.
She was a registered nurse at Chaleur Regional Hospital for 34 years. She retired in 1994.
In addition to her loving husband, she is survived by her "Girls"; Christine Fournier (Omer) of Saint John, N.B., Paula Yarich (Denis Bouchard) of Halifax, N.S. and Rachelle Fox (Ron) of Halifax, N.S.
Was "Mère" to eight precious grandchildren: Alexandra, Paulina, Jacob, Sarah, Summer, Jackson, Mitchell and Jessie.
Was a cherished sister to: Mary Ritchie (David) of North Tetagouche, N.B., Sheila O’Kane and Miki O’Kane (Fred Carmichael) both of Inuvik, N.W.T.
She was predeceased by an infant sister, Kathleen Rebecca O’Kane.
There will be no visitation at funeral home. Funeral Services will be celebrated on Monday, October 12th, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Elhatton’s Funeral Home Chapel, 187 St. George Street, Bathurst, N.B.
Donations in memory of Ellie may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, the Autism Society of NB or a charity of the donor’s choice.
