1945 – 2015

Beresford – Jean ''John'' Pitre, of the Villa Sormany, Robertville, passed away suddenly on Sunday October 4, 2015, at the age of 70, at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst.  Born in Beresford, he was the son of the late Johnny  and Isabelle (Roy) Pitre.

He is survived by his daughter, Chantal (Brian) MacKenzie of Calgary, Alb.

One grandson, Tyler Jordan Latino of London, Ont.

Four sisters: Viola Degrâce (late Raymond), Rosa Guignard (late Alphonse) and Mona Boudreau (late Charles) all of Beresford and Norma Pitre (Pierre Nolet) of Robertville.

One brother, Clifford (Évangéline Legacé) of South Tetagouche.

Several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by a brother, Cletus and a sister, Delcia.

There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday afternoon October 9, 2015 at 2 p.m. from Saint-Nom-de-Jésus Church of Beresford.

Donations in memory of John may be made to the NB Lung Association or a favorite charity.
