Bathurst - Mrs. Theresa Boucher, 96, wife of the late Eldon Aubie and the late Hector Boucher, formerly of East Bathurst, passed away on Wednesday October 21, 2015, at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst.
Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Annie (Doucet) Lavigne.
She is survived by seven sons: Cletus Aubie (Evangeline), Léonard Aubie (Thérèse), Jerry Aubie (Vicky Thériault) all of Bathurst, Gerry Aubie of Oshawa, Ont., Bernie Aubie (Shirley) of Moncton, Charles Aubie (Mary Jane) of Windsor, N.S. and Paul Lanteigne (Lizon Guignard) of Tracadie.
Four daughters: Claudette Chamberlain (Gerard), Beverly Timmons both of Bathurst, Anita Jessup (Shawn) of Bowmanville, Ont. and Vivian Draz (Dave) of Las Vegas, U.S.
Twenty-five grandchildren and thirty great-grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews.
She was the last surviving member of her immediate family and was pre-deceased by one son, Gordon Aubie; two brothers: Aurèle and Martin; three sisters: Hazel Lavigne, Bella Larocque and Lilliane Babin.
The body will rest after 2 p.m. Friday at Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday morning October 24, 2015, at 10:30 a.m. from Our Lady of the Rosary Church, St. Peter Ave., Bathurst.
Visiting hours are Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and Saturday from 9 a.m. until time of Funeral.
