Bathurst – Paul Imbeault of Bathurst and formerly of Montreal, passed away on Saturday October 24, 2015 at the age of 80, at the Foyer Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes, Bathurst.
Born in Bathurst, he was the son of the late Pierre and Izella (Godin) Imbeault.
He worked for the Montreal Standard Newspaper before retiring back to Bathurst.
Besides his wife, Exella (Pitre) Imbeault, he is survived by a son, Alain of Calgary, Alta.
Two grandsons: Jacob and Jesse.
Three brothers: Gérard Imbeault (Lillian) of Montreal, Léonard Imbeault (Claudette) of Middle River and Albert Imbeault (Carol) of Bathurst.
Five sisters: Jeanne Duclos (Walter) of Toronto, Ont., Bertha Hachey (Alex) of Bathurst, Claudette Wynn (late Dave) of Salem, MO, U.S., Anne Marie Plourde (Donat) of Allardville and Loraine Whalen (Keith) of South Tetagouche. Several nieces and nephews.
He was pre-deceased by two brothers: Richard, Sylvio and three sisters: Evangeline "Yve", Yvonne and Rita.
There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Friday October 30, 2015 from Elhatton Funeral Home Chapel, Bathurst.
Donations in memory of Paul may be made to the Foyer Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes Foundation, Parkinson’s Foundation or a favorite charity.
