1957 – 2015
Canobie, N.B. - Mary Jagoe of Canobie, passed away on Tuesday October 27, 2015 at the age of 58, at the Moncton Hospital.
Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of Inez (Knowles) Jagoe and the late Donald Jagoe.
Besides her mother of New Bandon, she is survived by two sons: Marshall Wiseman and Zachery Wiseman both of Bathurst.
Three sisters: Lynda Jagoe of New Bandon, Karla Smith (Wayne) of Salmon Beach and Tilda Whelton (David) of Pokeshaw.
One brother, John (Kathy) of Janeville. Several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Mary worked in the fishing industry, she was the 1st women volunteer Firefighter for the New Bandon / Salmon Beach Volunteer Fire Department, worked with the Saint John Ambulance, worked for many years on the family farm, was an avid outdoors person, loved Hockey, Baseball, loved to travel and was an active member of the Christ Church Anglican, Clifton.
The body will rest after 2 p.m. Friday at Elhatton Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday morning October 31, 2015 at 11 a.m. from Christ Church Anglican, Clifton. Visiting hours are Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9.
Donations in memory of Mary may be made to the Diabetes Association, Children’s Wish Foundation or a favorite charity.
