Bathurst – Félix Vienneau, 88, formerly of Rough Waters Dr., Bathurst, passed away on Sunday November 1, 2015, at the Foyer-Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes, Bathurst. Born in Bathurst, he was the son of the late Charles and Philomène (Vienneau) Vienneau.
Félix has been retired for 30 years after working for Canadian National Railway, he was very active in his parishes of Our Lady of Mount Carmel and the Sacred Heart Cathedral in Bathurst, he was a member of the 3rd Degree Knights of Columbus, Bathurst.
He was predeceased by his wife, Elisa (Savoie) Vienneau in 2013.
He is survived by two sons: Yvon (late Pauline) of Beresford and Luc (Suzanne) of Ottawa.
One daughter, Aline Vienneau (Luc Frechette) of Ottawa; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
One brother, Rodolphe Vienneau (Alice) of Oshawa, Ont. and one sister, Madeleine Godin (late Alderic) of Toronto, Ont.; several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by a son, Marcel (1992).
The family will receive relatives and friends after 2 p.m. Tuesday, November 3, 2015 at Elhatton’s Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday November 4, 2015, at 11 a.m. from the Sacred Heart Cathedral, Bathurst. Visiting hours are Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and Wednesday from 9 a.m. until time of Funeral.
Donations in memory of Félix may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a favorite charity.
