1923 – 2015

Bathurst – Mrs. Anita Kenny, 92, wife of the late James B. Kenny, formerly of St. Peter Ave., passed away on Monday December 21, 2015 at the Foyer Notre Dame de Lourdes, Bathurst.

Born in Dunlop, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Aline (Aubé) Hadley.

She was an active member of the Holy Family Church Choir for many years.

She is survived by one daughter, Betty Smyth of Bathurst.  One sister:  Viola Cormier of Beresford.  Six Grandchildren: Lynn, Kenny, Carl, Bryan, Cindy, Tanya and eleven great-grandchildren.  Daughter-in-law, Claudette Kenny of Bathurst.  Several nieces and nephews.

She was pre-deceased by four sons: Ron, Albert, Ray and Allen; two brothers: Donald, Alward; four sisters: Pat, Martha, Gloria and Lillian.

There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home.  A memorial Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday afternoon December 29, 2015 at 2 p.m. from Holy Family Church, St. Peter Ave., Bathurst. 

Donations in memory of Anita may be made to a charity of the donors choice.
