Bathurst – Peter Roy of Roy Lane, Bathurst, passed away on Wednesday January 27, 2016 at the age of 81, at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst.
Born in Bathurst, he was the son of the late Melvin and Annie (Boudreau) Roy.
He worked as a Body Auto Technician for Hatheway’s until his retirement.
Besides his wife, Rita (Richard), he is survived by three sons: Robert (Lori) of Bathurst, Kenneth (Claudine) of Halifax, Glen (Colette) of Kitchener, Ont.
One daughter, Shirley Roy of Bathurst; nine grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
Two brothers: Gerald Roy (Arleene) of Bathurst, Alfred ''Ti-Num'' Roy of Tremblay; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the Elhatton Funeral Home Chapel (www.elhatton.com) St. George St., Bathurst on Monday, February 1st 2016 from 2 p.m. where the funeral will be celebrated at 4 p.m.
Donations in memory of Peter, may be made to Canadian Cancer Society or a favorite charity.
