1967 – 2016

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Marc Godin of Petit-Rocher-Nord, N.B. on Thursday January 28, 2015 at the Chaleur regional Hospital in Bathurst at the age of 48.

Born in September 1967, in Toronto, he was the son of Claudette Bertin of Bathurst, and the late Laurent Godin.

Marc was a custodian for the francophone school district.  Marc loved going for drives recently discovered his love for the outdoors in his side by side.  He loved life and has a heart of gold.

Marc will be forever loved sadly missed by his spouse, Christine and his two kids: James and Dawn Godin; his mother and his sister, Colette (Joey) of Petit-Rocher; his three nieces: Christine, Emilie and Vanessa; his nephew, Braxton; his mother-in-law, Elizabeth Sherrard of Miramichi; his father-in-law, Randy Sherrard of Port Elgin; his two brother-in-laws: Glen Sherrard of Miramichi and Jason Sherrard of Port Elgin; his co-workers, friends and fur babies.

Visitation will be held at Heritage Funeral Home (www.mfheritage.com) in Beresford, on Sunday, January 31, 2016 from 2 to 4,  7 to 9 and Monday, February 1, 2016 from 9 until time of funeral.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, February 1, 2016 at 11 a.m. from St. Polycarpe Church in Petit-Rocher.
