Bathurst - Louis "Ti-Bin" Aubé, 80, of Oulton Ave., Bathurst, passed away on Friday February 5, 2016 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst after a brief illness.
Born in Bathurst, he was the son of the late Joseph and Rose (Comeau) Aubé.
Louis was a 3rd Degree member of Bathurst Council 1935e Knights of Columbus, Bathurst, active member of the Senior Bowling League, member of the Sacred Heart Cathedral parish council. He was retired from Loundbury’s after 20 years of service and enjoyed family, friends and will be sadly missed by many.
Besides his wife, Gilberte (Benoit) Aubé, he is survived by a daughter, Sandra McGrath (Donald Arseneau) of Bathurst; two sons: David (Lise Daigle) and Richard "Ricky" both of Bathurst.
Eight grandchildren: Tyle (Robbyn), Adam, Jordan, Jacob, Tori, Jack, Michel, André, two great-grandchildren, Tovah and Ryder.
Three brothers: Arthur (Delia) of Abbotsford, B.C., Walter of Montreal, Que. and Harold (Jo-Anne) of Pointe-Claire, Que. Two sisters: Jeannette Aubé, of Pointe-Claire, Que. and Dorothy Aubé of Ile Perrot, Que. Several cousins, nieces, nephews and one aunt, Jeannette Pelletier.
He was pre-deceased by one son, Daniel and one sister, Doris.
The body will rest after 2 p.m. Monday at Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday February 9, 2016 at 2 p.m. from the Sacred Heart Cathedral, St. Andrew St., Bathurst. Visiting hours are Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and Tuesday from 12 noon until time of Funeral.
Donations in memory of Louis may be made to the Diabetes Association or a favorite charity.
