1926 – 2016

Bathurst – Mrs. Thérèse "Theresa" Legacy, wife of the late Léo Legacy, of Big River and formerly of Miramichi Ave., Bathurst, passed away at the age of 89, on Sunday March 20, 2016 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, after a brief illness.

Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Larry and Carolyne (Comeau) Aubie.

She is survived by three daughters and two sons:  Claudette Saunders (Robert) and Pierrette Battah (Stephen) both of Fredericton, William (Louise) of Point-Verte, Aurèle (Lucille) of Nigadoo and Jocelyne Duguay (Donald) of Big River.

13 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren.

One brother, Roger Aubie (Hilda) and one sister, Irmine Sargent both of Bathurst.  Several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive relatives and friends after 2 p.m. Tuesday at Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday March 23, 2016 at 4 p.m. from the Sacred Heart Cathedral, St. Andrew St., Bathurst.  Visiting hours are Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and Wednesday from 2 p.m. until time of Funeral.

Donations in memory of Thérèse may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a favorite charity.
