1921 - 2016

Bathurst - Mrs. Martha Doucet formerly of West Bathurst, wife of the late Albert Doucet, passed away at the age of 95, on Tuesday March 22, 2016 at the Foyer Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes, Bathurst.

Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Frances (Doucet) Lavigne.

She is survived by her 11 children: Patricia Cher (John) of Stittsville, Ont., Albert Jr. (Noëlla Roy) of Beresford, Roger, France Doucet, Jean-Pierre (Susan Masse), Rachel Robinson (Dale) all of Bathurst, Denise Walmsley (Don) of Oshawa, Ont., Eric (Francine Jean) of Dunlop, Daniel of South Tetagouche, Gisèle Tkachuck (Ernest) of Elgin, Ont. and Danny (Diane Godin) of Tremblay.

Many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Two brothers: William (Bill) Lavigne of Port Severn, Ont. and Ernest Lavigne (Carmel) of Big River.

Two sisters: Patricia Tully of Colorado, U.S.and Mary Gallant of Ste-Anne's, Glou. Co.

Several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by two children: Doris, Claude and one sister, Irène Roy.

The family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday March 29, 2016 from 2 to 4, 7 to 9 and Wednesday, March 30, 2016 from 9 a.m. until time of funeral, at Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday March 30, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of the Rosary Church, St. Peter Ave., Bathurst.
