Beresford - Arnold Duguay of Beresford, passed away on Saturday March 26, 2016, at the age of 76, at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst.
Born in Beresford, he was the son of the late Edmond I. and Lydia (Hachey) Duguay.
He worked at Brunswick Mines until his retirement and was a Volunteer Fireman in Beresford for over 20 years.
Besides his wife, Helen (Gallant) Duguay, he is survived by two sons and one daughter: Rodney (Patricia), Allan and Charlene Roy (Samuel) all of Beresford.
Four grandchildren: Christopher, Amanda, Natacha and Nicholas.
Three brothers: Marc Duguay, Alyre Duguay (Yvonne) both of Beresford and Lucien Duguay (Léona) of Hamilton.
One sister: Lillian Arseneau of Petit-Rocher.
Two sisters-in-law: Delcina Duguay and Julie-Anne Duguay both of Beresford.
Mother-in-law, Mary Gallant of Georgetown, P.E.I. Several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by two brothers: Alvin and Rodrigue.
Visitation will rest at Heritage Funeral Home (www.mfheritage.com), Beresford on Monday, March 28 2016 from 2 to 4, 7 to 9 and Tuesday, March 29, 2016 from 9 a.m. until fime of funeral.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday morning March 29, 2016 at 11 a.m. from Holy Name of Jesus Church, Beresford.
Donations in memory of Arnold may be made to a charity of the donors choice. The family would like to thank the staff at the Foyer Notre Dames de Lourdes for the excellent care given to Arnold.
