Dunlop, N.B. – Mrs. Rosalie Nowlan of Dunlop, common-law spouse of Jean-Claude Roy and former wife of Gildard Nowlan, which occurred Wednesday April 6, 2016, at the age of 65, at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst.

Born in Saint-Sauveur, she was the daughter of Thérèse (Duguay) Power and the late Wilfred Power.

Besides her mother of St-Isidore and her spouse, she is survived by two daughters: Lyne Power (Michel Boudreau) of Bathurst and Marie-Josée Nowlan (Daniel Savoie) of Évangeline.

One grandson, Mickael and one great-granddaughter, Emma.

Four brothers: Roger Power (Majella), Richard Power (Jeannine), Hermel Power (Malvina Chiasson) and Jean-Guy Power.

Three sisters: Bernadette McGraw (Irenée Cool), Priscille Guignard (Omer) and Annette Power (Donald Guimand).

One godchild, Lisette McGraw.

Two sisters-in-law: Carolle and Diana.

Several uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and relatives on both sides of the Roy and Nowlan family.

She was predeceased by two brothers: Gérald, Ovide and a sister, Catherine.

There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday morning April 9, 2016 at 11 a.m. from Sainte-Bernadette-de-Soubirous Church, Saint-Sauveur. 

The family would like to say a thank you to the nurses at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, for the care given to Rosalie.

Donations in memory of Rosalie may be made to the family.
