1936 – 2016

Bathurst - Corinne Lavigne-Hachey passed away on Tuesday, May 10th 2016 at the Foyer Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes in Bathurst, NB.  She was the daughter of the late Amos Lavigne and of late Ida Boudreau.

She is survived by her two sons: Derrick (Michelle Horne) Godin of Orléans, ON and André (Nadia Doucet) Godin of Madran, NB

Her husband, Augustin Hachey of Bathurst, NB.

Five grandchildren whom she adored so much: Matthew, Sarah, Dominic, Geneviève and Mélodie.

Her two sisters: Grace and Agnes. 

She will also be missed by her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law as well as her close ones.

Corinne was predeceased by seven brothers and one sister: Réginald, Adélard, Arthur, Régina, Lionel, Lorenzo, Alvin and Gérard and by her first husband, Georges F. Godin (father of her two boys). 

At the request of the family, there will be no visitation.  The funeral service will be held on May 13th 2016 at 3 pm at the Elhatton’s chapel located at 187 St. George Street, Bathurst, NB.

A donation to the Alzheimer Society or a charity of your choice would be appreciated. 

The family wishes to thank the amazing caregivers of the Foyer Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes for their exceptional kindness and devoted care.
