1962 - 2016

Bathurst - Mrs. Monique Bertin, 53, spouse of Walter Landry, of Major Lane, Bathurst, which occurred accidently on Route 11, Bathurst, on Friday July 1, 2016.

Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Emilia (Boucher) Bertin.

Monique enjoyed camping and travelling and will be greatly missed by her camping buddies.

Besides her spouse, she is survived by one son, Kevin Bertin of Grande Prairie, AB.  Four step-daughters:  Lisa Boudreau, Tracy Spence, Christine Carrier and Kara Landry.  Several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.

One brother, Eddy Bertin (Elaine Armstrong) of Moncton.  Three sisters: Florence Boudreau (Claude) of Robertville, Raymonde Duguay (Ossilas "Ozzy") of Allardville and Catherine Whelton (Gary) of Bathurst.  Several nieces, nephews and many friends.

There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home.  A Memorial service will be celebrated on Saturday morning July 9, 2016 at 11 a.m. from the Holy Family Church, St. Peter Ave., Bathurst.

Donations in memory of Monique may be made to the Diabetes Association or a charity of the donors choice.
