1939 – 2016

Miramichi Road, NB – Thomas Couture of Miramichi Road, passed away Wednesday July 20, 2016 at the age of 76, at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst.

Born in Bathurst, he was the son of the late Abbé and Alexina (Haché) Couture. 

Thomas worked at the former Ellis Building Supplies for 32 years.

He is survived by his wife Noëlla (Benoit) Couture;

one son, Stephane (Nicole) of Bathurst;

two daughters: Parise Hachey (Stephane) of Bathurst and Carol Lynn Daley (Vaughn) of Janeville;

three grandchildren: Monica, Jessica and Adam;

one brother, Omer (Rose) of Windsor, ON;

five sisters: Albina Forbes of Sydney, NS, Geraldine Poisson of Windsor, ON, Emilia (Randolph) Dorion of Bathurst, Angelina Bartinshi of Sprague, MB, Lydia Brown of Steinback, MB. Several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by four brothers: Martial, Bernard, Wilfred and Philippe and four sisters: Rose, Lillian, Evelyn and Florence.

There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday July 25, 2016 at 4 p.m. from the Sacred Heart Cathedral, Bathurst.
