Bathurst - Mrs. Ada Scott, wife of the late Kenneth Scott, formerly of Bridge St., Bathurst, passed away on Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at the age fo 96, at the Foyer Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes, Bathurst.
Born in Canobie, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Hilda (Ellis) Glendenning.
She is survived by five children: Kirk (Edith) of Bathurst, Thelma Gander (Bob) of Fredericton, Muriel Basque (Jean Guy "John") and Margo Smith (Doug) both of Clifton, Marion Lavigne (Leo) of Pokeshaw.
Several grandchildren; great-grandchildren that brought much joy into her life.
One daughter-in-law, Sandra Scott of Janeville; one son-in-law, Norman Branch of Bathurst.
Also survived by two sisters: Ruby Borland (Bob) of Alcona, ON and Margaret "Peg" Peters of Bathurst. Several nieces and nephews.
She was pre-deceased by a son, Lloyd Kenneth; a daughter, Joyce; five sisters: Alice, Muriel, Shirley, Patricia, Fran and five brothers: Stern, Gordon, Guy, Marson and George.
There will be no visitation. A private family graveside service will be held at a later date.
Donations in memory of Ada may be made the Foyer Notre Dame de Lourdes Foundation or a charity of the donor's choice.
