1925 – 2016

Bathurst – Mrs. Hermance Melanson wife of the late Paul Melanson, of Golf St., Bathurst, passed away on Wednesday August 10, 2016, at the age of 91, at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst.

Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Randolph and Cécile (Maillet) Frenette.

She is survived by two sons: Bruce (Sandra) of Saint John, NB and Jimmy (Jacqui) of Vancouver Island, BC.

Five grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren.

Two brothers: Roger Frenette (Georgie) and Ulric Frenette (Yolande) both of Bathurst. 

Two sisters:  Annette Frenette of Montreal and Jeanette Beaulieu (Frank) of Quebec, PQ.  Several nieces and nephews.

Besides her husband, she was predeceased by a son, Peter (Sharon); two sisters: Simone and Hermin; one brother, Alvin.

There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home. Funeral service will be celebrated on Monday August 15, 2016 at 11 a.m. from Elhatton Funeral Home Chapel, Bathurst.

Donations in memory of Hermance may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of the donors choice.
