1960 – 2016

Bathurst - Mrs. Linda Lavigne, 56, wife of Charles Lavigne of Spring Cres., Bathurst, passed away on Thursday September 15, 2016 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst.

Born in Montreal, QC, she was the daughter of the late Denis and Marie-Blanche (Ouellette) Grant.

Besides her husband, she is survived by five children:  Michel Lavigne, Jennifer Lavigne (Oscar Pitre), Angela Lavigne (Sasha) and Diane Couture (Randy) all of Bathurst and Andrea Leakey (Alan) of South Tetagouche.  Eight grandchildren.

Two sisters:  Yvette Marcotte (Léon Sanfaçon) and Suzanne Lavigne (Roland) all of Bathurst.  One brother, Lorenzo Grant (Linda) of Petit-Rocher.  Several nieces and nephews.

There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday September 19, 2016 at 11 a.m. from Holy Family Church, St. Peter Ave., Bathurst.  Donations in memory of Linda may be made to the Heart and Stoke Foundation, Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of the donors choice.  Arrangements are in the care of Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst.
