Beresford - Mrs. Carmel Doucet Hadley of Beresford, passed away on Sunday June 25, 2017, at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, at the age of 70.

Born in Beresford, she was the daughter of the late Gerard and Marjorie (Roy) Doucet.

She worked as an administrative secretary at the Chaleur Regional Hospital in Bathurst for many years.

She is survived by three children:  Dale (Caroline Gautreau) of Saint-Isidore, Debbie Boudreau (André) of Beresford and Shawn of Moncton.  Four grandchildren: Kevin, Kurt, Chloé and Janie.

Two brothers:  Michel "Mike" Doucet (Cheryl) of Truro, N.S. and Robert "Bobby" Doucet (Pierrette Guitard) of Beresford.

Three sisters:  Janice Gaudet (Robert) and Charline Haché (René) both of Beresford and Lucille Halcro (Floyd) of Saint-Brieux, Sask.  Several nieces and nephews.

A special friend, Roger Boudreau of Kedgwick.

She was predeceased by a brother, Denis and a nephew, Denis Michel.

The family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home (www.mfheritage.com), Beresford.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday June 28, 2017 at 2 p.m. from Église St-Nom-de-Jésus in Beresford.

Donations in memory of Carmel may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Alzheimer’s Association or a favorite charity.
