Bathurst – Mrs. Cécilia Couture, wife of the late Wallace Couture, of St. Mary's Ave, Bathurst, passed away on Friday June 30, 2017 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, at the age of 86.

Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Elizabeth (Doucet) Nini.

She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Herman J. Good, V.C. Br. 18, Royal Canadian Legion, Bathurst.

She is survived by two sons: Brian Couture and Louis Couture (Sharon) both of Bathurst.

One grandson, Shawn and one great-granddaughter, Kali

Three brothers: Albany Nini (Roselda) of Allardville, Mario Nini of Bathurst and Réginald Nini (Léona) of Robertville.

One sister, Hazel Couture of Bathurst.

Several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a grandson, Nicholas.

There will be no visitation at the funeral home.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday July 5, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. from Holy Family Church, Bathurst.  

Donation in memory of Cécilia may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a favorite charity.
