It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Annie Mae Peters, which occurred at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst on Thursday September 28, 2017, at the age of 77.  Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Jack and Frances (Jennings) Jennings. 

She leaves behind her three children:  Jean (Claude Stever), Sheila (William Jamieson) and Kevin all of Bathurst.  Three grandchildren:  Christina Lee (Martin Gauvin), Sonia Doucet and Jamey Lynn. 

Three great grandchildren:  Cory, Sandrine and Madalaine.

Three sisters: Clara Smith, Barbara Wood both of Salmon Beach and Betty Ann Cole of Bathurst.  Several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, Gilbert Peters and a sister, Geraldine Lavigne.

The family will receive relatives and friends after 1 p.m. Tuesday October 3, 2017 at Elhatton Funeral Chapel, Bathurst, from where the funeral service will be held at 2 p.m.  

Donations in memory of Annie may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Diabetes Association.
