North Tetagouche - Michael Daigle, 73, of North Tetagouche, passed away suddenly at his residence on Sunday November 19, 2017.

Born in Bathurst, he was the son of the late Leopold and Ursula (Major) Daigle.

He worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator and in Mining for most of his life.

Besides his wife, Alfredine (Mallet) Daigle, he is survived by three children:  Michel Daigle (Alma) of Thorsby, AB, David (Rachelle) of North Tetagouche and Carol Daigle (Shawn Gauthier) of Dunlop.  Six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Three brothers: Cyrille (Wayne McKay) of Moncton, Wayne (France) of Charlesbourg, QC and Richard of Ontario.  Two sisters:  Joan Kovats (late Nick) of Bathurst and Colleen Aubé (Jacques) of Nigadoo.  Several nieces and nephews. 
 
He was pre-deceased by a brother, Daniel and a sister Ruth
 
There will be no visitation at the funeral home.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, November 23, 2017 at 4 p.m. from Our Lady of the Rosary Church, Bathurst.

Donations in memory of Michael may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a favorite charity. Arrangements are in the care of Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst.
