The death of Vernon Pitre, husband of Kelly Huard of Lavigne Street in Bathurst, occurred on Wednesday, March 7, 2018, at the Chaleur Regional Hospital at the age of 50. Born in Bathurst, he was the son of the late Leon and Grace (Legacy) Pitre.

Besides his wife Kelly, he leaves behind two stepchildren:

Monika Huard and Shannon Huard, both of Bathurst. One grandchild, Damien.

One brother, Stephen Pitre of Hamilton, ON.

One sister, Barbara Pitre (Maurice Boudreau) of Nigadoo.

Several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held at the Elhatton Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, March 13, 2018, at 11 a.m.

In memory of Vernon, a donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
