Mrs. Arnolda E. Nini, wife of the late Anthony "Jack" Nini, passed away peacefully at her residence in Gloucester Junction, with her family by her side, on Friday April 26, 2019, at the age of 93.

Born in Bathurst, she was the last member of her immediate family and was the daughter of the late Raymond and Irene (Boucher) Blanchard.

She worked in retail at the former W.J. Kent & Co. in Bathurst.  Member of the Sacred Heart Cathedral Catholic Women’s League.  Her passion of life was teaching the word of God in her Sunday School classes.  She also enjoyed spending time in her flower garden.

She is survived by three daughters: Mary Dobbins (John) of Miramichi, Cheryl Lavoie (Marcel) of Gloucester Junction and Janice MacMaster (Aulder "Jr") of Moncton.

Three sons: Earl Nini (Diane Goodwin) of St. Albert, AB, Brent Nini (Omadevi) of Cayman Islands and Mark Nini (Mary Jane Doiron) of Bathurst.

Twelve grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren.

Several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive relatives and friends after 2 p.m. Monday at Elhatton’s Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday April 30, 2019 at 11 a.m. from the Sacred Heart Cathedral, St. Andrew St., Bathurst. 

Visiting hours are Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.  

Donations in memory of Arnolda may be made to the IWK Hospital or a favorite charity.
