Petit-Rocher, N.B. – Jeanne D’Arc Thériault, wife of the late Paul-Émile Thériault, of Petit-Rocher, passed away at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst on Friday, May 17, 2019 at the age of 72.
Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Joseph E. and Marianne (Couture) Doucet.
She is survived by two children: Carole Robichaud (Mario) of Nouvelle Ouest, Qué. and Tanya Comeau (Paul) of Petit-Rocher.
Five grandchildren: Janie (Alain), Michael, Gislain, Melissa (Johnathan), Roxanne (Guillaume) and one great-granddaughter, Camille.
One brother, Denis Doucet (Marie) and two sisters: Antoinette Roy and Dianne Doucet (Cécile) all of Petit-Rocher.
Many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by three brothers and six sisters: Théofred, Edmond, Ronald, Evangeline, Albina, Mathilda, Stella, Anita and Laurine.
There will be no visitation at the funeral home. Funeral service will be celebrated Thursday, May 23rd, 2019 at 4 p.m. from Saint-Polycarpe Church, Petit-Rocher.
In memory of Jeanne d’Arc, a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
The family would like to thank the staff of the Palliative Care Unit of the Chaleur Regional Hospital for the care given to Jeanne D’Arc during her illness.
