Pointe-Verte, N.B. – It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Carmen Lagacé, wife of Florien Lagacé which occurred peacefully at the Foyer Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes on Monday July 29th, 2019 at the age of 80.
Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Wilfred and Antoinette (Bérubé) Frenette.
Besides her husband of 60 years of Beresford, she is survived by three children: Nicole Haché (Steven Caissie) and André Lagacy (Janique) both of Beresford and Rachelle Lagacé of Petit-Rocher.
Six grandchildren: Annick, Jonathan, Joanie, Marie-Joëlle, Karine, Sylvain and eight great-grandchildren: Amélie, Samuel, Anthony, Lillianne, Élodie, Alec, Isabelle and Annabelle.
Many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a daughter Denise and a brother Kenneth.
The family will receive relatives and friends after 2 p.m. on Tuesday August 6th, 2019 at Heritage Funeral Home (www.mfhertiage.com) Beresford until time of funeral which will be celebrated at 4 p.m. from St. Vincent-de-Paul Church in Pointe-Verte.
Donations in memory of Carmen can be made to the Lung Association, the Canadian Cancer Association or a charity of the donor’s choice.
