It is with profound sadness that the family announces the passing of Bailey Eileen Roy-Hadley which occurred suddenly on Monday, December 30th, 2019 at the age of 38 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital in Bathurst.
Born in Bathurst, she is the daughter of Marie (O’Toole) and Jackie Roy. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband Luc Hadley, her brother Mason Roy and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Bailey was a nurse and educator for the “OR” at the Fort McMurray Regional Hospital. She was awarded the AHS Spirit award of excellence for outstanding achievements in teamwork and contributions made to health care.
Bailey’s passion was photography and travelling. She was an excellent golfer as the result of many years in the Gowan Brae Junior program. She also loved curling, snowboarding and paddle board. She played the piano and was blessed with a beautiful singing voice.
Bailey was passionate about life and had a large circle of family and friends. She had a talent for making those around her feel special and was dearly loved. She will be sorely missed.

There will be no visitation at the funeral home. Funeral mass will be celebrated Friday, January 10, 2020 at 2 p.m. from Sacred Heart Cathedral, Bathurst, with a reception to follow.
Donations in memory of Bailey may be made to the Tree of Hope campaign or a charity of the donor’s choice.
