It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Raymond J. Bourque at the age of 91 on March 24th, 2020 at Chaleur Regional Hospital.

Born in Detroit, Michigan, he was the son of the Late Alfred Bourque and Flora DeGruchey.   

 He is survived by his loving wife Dorothy, married for nearly 64 years, his daughter Evelyn MacNeil (Lorne) of Pabineau Falls, his son Eric (Barbara) of Bathurst.  

 His three grandchildren whom he loved dearly, Krista MacNeil, Nathan MacNeil and Jill Bourque, all of Moncton, several cousins and loved by many.  

Raymond worked at the former Consolidated Pulp & Paper Mill, Brunswick Mines, then became self-employed as a Painter. After retiring, he enjoyed walking, weightlifting exercises, adult coloring and homemade baking, especially his delicious bread that the whole family enjoyed. He wholeheartedly loved his family and was dearly loved in return. He will be greatly missed!  

 Because of COVID-19, there will be no visitations at the Funeral Home. A private service will be held at Elhatton’s Funeral Home Chapel in Bathurst. A Donation in Memory of Raymond can be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or to the donor’s choice. Arrangements are in the care of Elhatton’s Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst.
