It is with heavy hearts that we, the family, announce the passing of Lillian McArdle Boucher partner of the late Blair Boucher who passed away August 10, 2020 surrounded by her family at the age of 73.
Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Melvina (Landry) McArdle.
Lillian is survived by four children: Matthew (Josee), Denise, Bruce (Heather), and Michelle (Doug); seven grandchildren: Nicole (Andrew), Alex, Madison, Nolan, Ava, Sarah, Mable, Brian (Anna) and Brianna, one great grandchild, Amelia.
Sisters: Nancy Martinez (Jorge), Elaine McArdle (Steve Kelland) of Ottawa, Paula Riordon, Barb Sweet (Charles), Marina Dobson (Kenny), Charlene Thibideau all of Bathurst. Several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by sisters: Joan, Janet and Mary.
Lillian was 4th of the infamous McArdle dozen. She spoke fondly of her wonderful childhood and the love for her parents. Her passions included a love for music, travel, sports and connecting with family and friends over the phone while enjoying a cup of King Cole tea. Above all, Lillian will be remembered for the immense love for her children and grandchildren. She regularly shared in her grandchildren’s accomplishments with gleaming pride.

A private funeral service will take place. An informal gathering of friends and family will be held at the family home on Monday August 17th at 5 p.m.
As there is no formal wake, donations in memory of Lillian may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
