It is with heavy hearts that we the family announce the passing of Mildred Doucet which occurred at the Foyer Notre Dame de Lourdes on Sunday October 3rd, 2021, at the age of 75.

Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter to the late Ernest and Madonna Pitre.

She leaves behind five children: one son, Michel (Debbie) Doucet of North Tetagouche; four daughters; Melinda Doucet of Quebec, Dianne (Jose) Arseneau of Beresford, Suzanne (Bruno) Vienneau of Bathurst and Denise (Marc) Robichaud of North Tetagouche.

Nine grandchildren: Jean–François, Frédérick, Marilyn, Monica, Stephanie, Vanessa, Michelle, Jason and Gerimi. Eight great-grandchildren.

One brother, Leandre Pitre of Ottawa.

Two sisters: Corinne Pitre of Alberta and Rose-Marie Doucet of Middle River, NB. Several nieces and nephews.

There will be no visitation at the funeral home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday October 13th , 2021 at 2 p.m from Holy Rosary Church, Bathurst. Masks will be mandatory and proof of double vaccination will be required.

Donations in memory of Mildred may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of the Donor’s choice.
