Mrs. Fernande Savoie, wife of Raymond Savoie, formerly of Big River, passed away on Thursday November 11, 2021, at the Villa Sormany in Robertville, at the age of 64.
Born in Robertville, she was the daughter, of the late Edgar and Yvonne (Lavigne) Pitre.
Besides her husband, she is survived by two sons: Eric (Kara McFarlane) of Fort McMurray, AB and Patrick (Tammy Pitre) of Bathurst.
Eight brothers and sisters: Solange Comeau (Lévis) of Robertville, Yollande Roy (René Doucet) of Petit-Rocher, Sylvia Frenette (Roland) of Nigadoo, Claudette Arseneau (Bruno) of Beresford, Colette LeBlanc (Jean-Charles) of Dunlop, Ronald Pitre of Bathurst, Etienne Pitre (Élise Vienneau) of Beresford and Esther Pitre (Guy Arseneau) of Petit-Rocher.
Several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was pre-deceased by two brothers: Roland and Jeannot.
The family will receive relatives and friends at Heritage Funeral Home (www.mfheriatage.com), Beresford, on Tuesday November 16, 2021, from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 4 p.m. from Sainte-Thérèse-d’Avila, Robertville. Proof of double vaccination and a government issued I.D. are required. Donations in memory of Fernande may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society or a favourite charity.
The family would like to thank the staff at the Villa Sormany for the excellent care given to Fernande during her stay with them and especially Joanne Roy, Nicole Boudreau and Nathalie Friolet.
